Abstracts for FOM2010 are due Jan. 11. The interdisciplinary meeting will present the latest innovations and trends in advanced multi-dimensional light microscopy and image processing applied to biology, medicine, and material/soft matter sciences.

Subjects will include:
- the theory and practice of multidimensional optical microscopes
- high spatial resolution (SIM, STED, PALM, etc.), sophisticated excitation (CARS, Raman, SHG, THG, OCS) and fluorescence imaging modes (FRET, FLIM, FRAP, FCS) for spatial light microscopy
- new techniques for functional studies and manipulation of cells and tissues
- automated and high-throughput microscopy techniques
- fluorescence activation, depletion and quenching techniques for cell biology
- related image processing and analysis approaches
