HD microscopy images without a computer

The Optronics Microcast HD Studio camera system could let you get even more from your microscope images. The high-definition camera system can be used with a variety of microscopes to acquire1920 x 1080 pixel images and progressive scan MPEG-4 video without the need for a computer. The detailed color images come from 3-CCD HD progressive scan technology and are useful for diagnostic and surgical imaging as well as for teaching and documentation. The 2-megapixel camera delivers highly-accurate color and high depth perception at 60 fps. Use the keypad interface to capture JPEG or MPEG-4 images and store them on USB media. More information here.
