Olympus BioScapes Digital Imaging Competition: Deadline September 30

You still have time to enter the sixth annual Olympus BioScapes Digital Imaging Competition. The last day for entries is September 30.

The company has announced the judges for the competition: Thomas Deerinck of the National Center for Microscopy and Imaging Research, University of California, San Diego; Kenneth N. Fish of the University of Pittsburgh; Douglas Murphy of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Janelia Farms Research Campus, Virginia; and Julie Theriot of the Stanford University School of Medicine in California.

The first place winner of the competition will receive a prize valued at $5,000. Nine other submissions win prizes, and honorable mentions will be awarded. You can submit up to five still images, image sequences, or movies taken using any magnification and brand of compound light microscope. Judges are given no equipment/brand information when judging. Winners will be notified in October, and publicly announced in November.
